predictions for remaining six games

NJ has been red hot as of late, but their remaining six games are gonna be tough. Anyone wanna speculate how they will do for the remainder of the regular season?

@ Mon - The Habs have been on a winning streak but the Devils have played well against them this season. Prediction: NJ win

vs NYR - NJ hasn't faired well this season in back to back games, but they are at home and I will never predict a NJ loss to the Rags. Hopefully Lundquist will still be unable to play because of his injury. Prediction: NJ win

@ Car - NJ's last game against Car was a 3-0 shutout win, but this is the best team they have to play against during the remainder in the reg season. Prediction: Car win

vs Phi - I think NJ will split the remaining two games with Phi.
vs Phi - see above

@ Mon - This is crunch time. NJ can't afford to lose to this guys at this point, and they know it. Their past experience will allow them to prevail. Prediction: NJ win (and sweep Mon during the regular season)

I would agree completely.

I am still pretty iffy about the NYR game as it is the 2nd of back to back games and we all know how well we fair in those. But luckily it is at home and we have a great home record.

Either way, it should be an exciting 6 games..especially since a lot of my good friends are Montreal fans.

Go Devils.

Someone wanna dredge up the early season media predictions that the Flyers would finish 20 points ahead of the Devils?

Shouldn't we "try" to win them all?

Although I agree with most of your predictions, I think the habs will win the last game of the season. Eight in a row has to stop somewhere and as a habs fan I'm predicting it will stop on Saturday night.

Montreal has an equally tough remaining schedule (maybe even harder) with games against Ottawa, Buffalo (2), NJ (2) and the gimme is Boston.

Whatever happens, best of luck to ya'll and PLEASE let us play PHI or NYR :biglaugh:

For argument's sake...let's call the games agaisnt each other a wash (despite the fact that they're both away games).
That leaves the Habs' remaining schedule two against a tough Buffalo team; one against a depleted Ottawa squad (provided they don't all-of-a-sudden-like get healthy);and one against a heated rival who is just playing out the string having already been eliminated.
The Devils, with the exception of the games against Montreal, play four games against two division leaders and one against the team currently above us in the division.
I'd say the Devils have a skosh tougher fight ahead of them. But I am confident in my team.

Montreal has an equally tough remaining scheduleI would say even more difficult. The Devils don't have to play the Devils.

what a great weekend these past two days turned out to be!

So far, I'm 2-0 on my predictions. Hopefully, I won't be right on the next one against Carolina.

Any news on Matvichuk?

Go Devils!
