It's a pity that no-one is having any comments on this tournament. Anyhow, I hope Daugavins and Dzelzs get a good look from NA scouts since this is their draft year. 1988 class is relatively deep for Latvia, lets hope somebody gets drafted on early July!

Great! Another win. 7:0 against Ukraine. Previous scores: 1:0 Poland; 6:1 Japan. Thus, goal differential 14:1 :yo:
It seems that Latvia shall win the next game vs Korea and it will all be decided during the last game against Denmark (which also has 3 wins thus far).

Last round of games, both Latvia and Denmark have four wins, they will play tommorrow and the winner shall move up. Due to better goal differential Latvia would move up even in the case of a tie. I heard that some NHL scouts are coming to Riga to watch the last game.

Great matchup. Scouts had best be there or they will be missing out.

Latvia - Denmark 7-4. For the first time latvian U18 team will play in elite. I knew that day will come but frankly not this soon. Nice surprise!
