Observations:
Adding Matvichuk back into the Lineup seems to have really sured things up.
Lukowich continues to look more comfortable as a Devil.
Going into the playoffs with White, Martin, Rafalski, Matvichuk, Lukowich, Hale as the top 6 and Albelin as the 7th would make me happy.
Madden is going to be a key to the Devils success in the playoffs.
Parise is starting to play the way I think all of us thought he could.
Devils still have a lot of uncertainty with a second line, but if Langenbrunner and Elias can find some magic the Devils will have a serious 1- 2 threat. Just wish we had a real 2nd line center to go in between those two.
I know they'll never move Parise now that there seems to be some chemistry on the first line. But I would love to see him Center Elias and Langenbrunner. Brylin has played LW with Gomez and Mogilny and fit in very well there, he could easily replace Parise there without skipping a beat. Elias and Langenbrunner are both extremely responsible two way forwards and any defiecency in Parise's game would be hidden by his two wingers and would bring out the best of Parise's playmaking ability. An Elias-Parise-Langenbrunner line could easily become NJ's top scoring line in my opinion.
Brylin-Gomez-Gionta
Elias-Parise-Langenbrunner
Pandolfo-Madden-Marshall
Weimer-Rasmussen-Janssen
Rafalski-Matvichuk
Martin-White
Lukowich-Hale
Brodeur
Thats the winning combonation right there!
