Blackjack 04-03-2006, 12:00 AM Somebody's got to offer a bounty on a picure of Hitchcock in "uniform" ... ... ... Ahh heck, I'd settle for a photochop Easton 04-03-2006, 12:05 AM Reminded me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oio9Hol7XAA David Puddy 04-03-2006, 01:48 AM I recall a story about Hitchcock going to his first Civil War re-enactent. He showed up with polyester pants, and the other re-enactors cut them apart because they did not have polyester pants in the 1860's. They wore wool pants. I must also add that I was watching a game on TV against Philadelphia during the 2003-04 season (I think it was either the Islanders or Rangers, not the Devils,) and the announcer said that Hitchcock was now interested in the Revolutionary War. They made it sound like he is not as into the Civil War now, but they didn't go into it beyond a brief mention. As for a photoshop image of Hitchock, I think Gerneral Winfield Scott, who had served as far back as teh War of 1812, would be a good choice. A much older General Scott was too fat to get on his own horse according to historian Shelby Foote as the Civil War started. But in reality, Hitchcock is best suited to re-enact the part of Sergeant Schulz (http://asjewelers.com/FRstuff/11/schultz.jpg) on the 1960's sitcom Hogan's Heroes.
