I think this sums up their frustration:

man how did that team [Pittsburgh] win 3 games against us this year?

How can Montreal complain about NJ beating Pittsburgh. NJ should always beat a team like the Pens. The Habs, however, should never have been able to beat the Sens, much less with a 5-3 score. My guess is that Ottawa must have thrown last night's game vs the Habs so they could face TB and their wonky goalie situation in the first round. There is no way the Habs should be able to beat the Sens, even if they are missing 6 defencemen and their goalie.

Throw the game? Haha.

Exactly, they basically had a core of AHL defensemen last night. No team in the NHL would be able to handle the other team's offense with AHLer's in the lineup every night.

Montreal is playing quite well, but their fans get so carried away and are getting a bit cocky lately. I really hope we get an opportunity to knock them out of the playoffs again!

That thread is AWESOME.

Gotta love the HABS fans, they are so fragile and desperate sometimes.

The HABS are the only other NHL team i really follow..all of their threads are like this.

They are so superstitious....gotta lov'em.

Should be a great game tonight. Brodeur is tough all the time , but particularly so vs Montreal. The Habs are playing a great team game right now and Huet has been arguably the best goalie in the NHL the past 2 months. The key for NJ will be staying out of the box as Montreal's PP will kill ya'. Enjoy guys and may the best team win.

And we hope to upset a few teams in the playoffs, that's all.

Actually, the Habs have beat the Sens three times this year now - once when our roster was depleted and Kovalev beat them by himself. Also, of the four losses that we've had against the Sens one was in OT one lucky bounce for the habs and they could have beaten Ottawa 4 times already. In fact on Monday we have a chance to even the season series at 4 apiece. I think that we've handled ourselves quite nicely against Ottawa this year, the Pens though ... that's a whole different story.

There is no way the Sens should have allowed themselves to lose 3 games in a row. They just made a new season low. Completely disgraceful.

Every team Ottawa has lost to recently, Jersey and T.O. came right back to beat them. Sabres, Flyers, Habs...

yes, yes, I know...HABS always throw that up. You are one of the oldest teams as well and one of the most important that initiated so much and developed the game.

That comment is a bit unfair.

I Love the HABs history, what they had done for the game, etc. but as nostalgic as I am, ya can't live in the past forever....

For the record, win or lose, I always enjoy a HABS game...I like your skating and playing style....and character of the organization/players, which is why I'm a HAB fan too.

The Devs simply have a larger part. Always will.
