HI guys,
im a huge ducks fan..and am looking to trade Alfredsson for him.
but can i ask:
What is the massive hype around Ryan Getzlaf?
On tsn.ca his profile, (with great justification) that Getzlaf May not produce enough to earn top-line status in the NHL.
in his final season he had only 54 pts in 51 games for Calgary Hitmen in the WHL.
his best was 75 in 49games, but not as much as other top line prospects.
Would you do: Justin Williams and Getzlaf for Daniel Alfredsson?

getzlaf is going nowhere...he's our future 2nd line center, maybe next season he will get this spot regularly...so if burke didnt trade him this season during trade deadline I dont see why he would trade him after season...

Getzlaf wont put up Alfie numbers for probably a couple more years. However, if he plays as well as he is now consistently next year he can probably net 25 goals and get 30-35 assists. But that is still an assumption.

I think that is a fair assumption.
he's got 18 assists this year, and with that cannon and offensive creativity he's going to score goals.

I'm not trying to be an a$$hole or anything, but isn't this type of question the reason the lineup thread was made? Maybe it's time to delete that sticky thread.
