Anyone have an update on Daze??

I heard that he was gettting a second opnion about his back today. Does anyone know if he will need surgery or will he be back soon? I think that him not in the line up is really hurting the team this year and hope to see him back soon. He and Sullivan were on a tear last year to finish the season and I was hoping that it would carry over this year as well.

There has got to be at least one Blackhawk or even hockey fan that has some kind of news or update here!!!!!!!

We're here, but there is no news to give. The hawks have had Daze looked at by two different doctors, but are witholding the results of both. In my mind that can only mean they're trying to hide bad news, but no one can say for sure. Either way it's not likely he'll be playing any time soon. Look for the results to be released by the end of the week.

"The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that forward Eric Daze will continue to receive treatment for a stiff back that flared up in an early season game. He will be re-evaluated in two weeks."
