As mentioned, a write-up on Robin Carruthers.

I'm going to try to do a player feature every couple weeks or so. I will consider requests, though merit will be the driving factor.

I'd like to see a write up on Dan Ellis :)

Hmm, well it wouldn't be by me because Idaho doesn't come out East. I'll keep that in mind as a request though.

If you could get me a chance to interview him I would ;)

I enjoyed the article and forwarded it on to every SLU alum I know that followed hockey (which was just about everyone).
Thanks :)

I keep tabs on guys I went to college and high school with, especially those I had some sort of contact with. Robin stole our hearts back in 2000 after the GWG in 4th OT during the SLU/BU game... and maybe even a couple of times at the bar or in the bookstore, but who's counting? ;)
One of my best friends that used to sit at the rink with me every game (not like the whole school didn't do it, but we were at Appleton every game all four years of our undergraduate careers even if we had to walk through hell to get there) is in law school and way too busy to keep up with this stuff on her own, so every time I hear something I like to pass it on to her and every other alum in my address book.

Just updating folks on Robin...
Robin is currently on a 7 road game, 8 goals streak dating back to 12/31.
He is also 10th in the ECHL in points with 46 points (22-24) in 43 games and tied for 2nd on Columbia.
Robin has been getting a few eye balls from AHL teams but being down in South Carolina presents problems for a lot of teams who have ECHL teams closer to them geographically.
