Who are his linemates? How is he looking? Is he involved in special teams? I was really disappointed with his lack of determination in Washington.

I was really disappointed with his lack of determination in Washington. Nothing is settled yet in his first two games. Limited ice time in the first one on a line with McDonald and Selanne. He started the second game there, but all the lines got shuffled and he ended up with Pahlsson and Niedermayer. Looked better on the checking line frankly and scored his goal out with them. Hasn't gotten a lot of PP time yet but he'll get more when he knows the system. Is he involved in special teams? I was really disappointed with his lack of determination in Washington. At first he was playing with Selanne and McDonald on the top line. That line wasn't getting much done, so mid-way through Sunday's game Carlyle put him together with Sammy Pahlsson and Rob Niedermayer. Somehow that move really benefited Nieds and Sammy, as they showed amazing chemisty together for the rest of the game. I'd say Friesen has done a pretty good job in his first two games. He's got a goal and was the 1st star on Sunday evening. | ||
