Anyone think he will be an NHLer? I think he'll be taken in the first two rounds of the 2004 Draft. He is very good and should be a #1 NHL goalie for someone in about 7 years. IMO of course. I think it's too early too tell whether he's NHL material or not. I will say this though, if he continues playing like he has been SOMEONE will take him in next summer's Entry Draft. How high he'll be ranked I think will be determined by not only his overall performance but also how he stacks up against other netminders, not only in the NCAA but also in the Canadian Major Junior and European leagues as well who are draft eligible. FYI, Boston College was his 2nd consecutive shutout. The last time Brown allowed a goal? At the 18:05 mark of the 3rd period in the game versus Ohio State on 10/11. He also shutout Bowling Green in the second game of a weekend series with them on 10/18. He played a few minutes in the 10/17 game but didn't allow a goal (Rory Walsh ended up with the loss on the stats sheet). The Hrkac Circus 10-30-2003, 07:22 PM I go to Notre Dame and when we first signed him we heard how he was supposed to be really good. He got his shot because Morgan Cey was hurt and has definately made the most of it. Cey was back tonight against Nebraska-Omaha, and played awesome except he had to leave the game with a minute left with an apparent shoulder injury, so Brown came in and made a save. Brown looks solid and can carry the load if Cey isnt ready to go. Oilers Chick 10-30-2003, 09:54 PM Welcome aboard! Nice to have another NCAA hockey fan on board, especially on who's up on Notre Dame hockey. I hope that you will be frequent visitor here. :) The Hrkac Circus 11-02-2003, 07:00 AM Welcome aboard! Brown had yet another shutout vs Nebraska-Omaha extending his shutout streak to something along the lines of 186 minutes and 50 seconds, but coach poulin still says the Cey is the number one guy. Its nice to know that we have a more than capable back up if Morgan gets hurt again. | ||
