As we all know if the Ducks make the play-offs, Vancouver gets a second round pick. Since the Ducks traded their second to Washington and gained the Islanders 2nd from Vancouver, what happeneds when the Ducks make the play-offs? Will Vancouver simply get the Islanders pick back? :dunno:

According to this site (http://www.freewebs.com/eggmanandwalrus/draft_picks.txt), the pick we're giving up to Vancouver is already set as a 3rd. I guess if it turned into a 2nd, Vancouver would be fine with getting our 2nd in '07 instead.

Yeah, but I think the Canucks would be smarter to take the '07 second if they have the choice. The '07 draft is much deeper than the '06 one.
