Hey guys, I'm looking for some good inline hockey pants. I've never played inline before but I plan to this spring. I'm looking for something relatively cheap (under $40 if possible). What exactly should I be looking for? I'm gonna wear my shin guards underneath the pants, so they should be wide legged I'm guessing.

Any pant will do, there are very few benefits to the more expensive ones. Just find something that fits comfortably. And dont wear ice hockey pants or you will look like a tool

Try and grab some close-out pants or ones off of E-bay to keep costs down. I agree that the pants are a huge difference maker overall. I got some Hystyk pants for my team off E-bay cheap last summer and they did the trick. Look for re-inforcement on the knees and check to see that they aren't poorly made.

I wear my Gear pants on ice at open hockey too. They were on sale at a local shop, apparently forgotten, for $10. Missions are nice, but pricey. Check the clearance sections for them.
