who you cheering for now?

Not a good time for North American Hockey fans since the Europeans have ousted both the Canadians and the Americans but my question is who would you like to see in the final and who is going home with the gold. I'd like to see Sweden and Finland.

And all I got to say is GO FINLAND GO :handclap:

Well after Canada I was cheering for the Slovaks but they only lasted 20 minutes. So now I believe the kiss of death belongs to the Swedes.

Canada ignored Predator players that could have really helped them and Modano and Chelios are arrogant A-holes.

Thankfully, Leopold, Regehr and Iginla were not hurt in this tournament, and get a few days to rest before hockey starts again.

Yes a Red Wings (Swedin) and Stars (Finland) would make a nice final, but the Rangers (Czech's) could mess it up. Although the Russians (Go Datsyuk) could be the favorites.

Czech Republic -- The only Jacket remaining in the tournament just so happens to be their captain.

Datsyuk has had a good tourney and I love watching the young Russians like Kovalchuk, Ovechkin, and Malkin play. The Swedes are pretty much the Redwings reincarnated.

Finland was world champion in 95.

But than again, I can root for any team at all, since there are Rangers on all the remaining teams. So I guess it's a win win... or a lose lose if you're someone who worries about injuries and fatigue (I kinda do).

I'm hoping for Sweden because of Sundin and because they've been hard luck. The Finns would be alright too. I've never really liked the Russians, but at least if they won it would be a victory for exciting hockey, the way it should be played.
