Anybody else think there should be at least a few less preliminary games?

I am starting to get anxious for the "real" games that count. I think they should cut a least a couple of these round robin or preliminary games or whatever name you want to give them- anyone else agree? I know you have to have some games to get organized and get lines organized, etc. but I think even 3 preliminary games would be plenty.

I think there should be more, like 10 for each team, and then a full playoff round with best of 3 series.

Why would you want that many extra games- it is only a 2 week Olympics and they did not come over at the start of the games as it was so they could get in as many NHL games as possible. They really would not be worth anything when the Olympics were over if they were to have that many games when they went back to play for their NHL teams.

I don't like either option...This is the best Olympic format in years, keep things as-is
