Yeah, that was a great article. The game (and pro sports on a whole) needs more people who care about the team, the game and the fans rather then what a greedy sports agent tells them to care about. Can't fault a guy for wanting a ton of money but there is so much more to the equation. We need more Brodeurs, Yzermans and Daneykos and a hell of a lot less Yashins and Guerins.

I think it shows team amd player loyalties. Brodour takes less m,oney now but gets a very long contract it is good for everyone
