Anyone seen him play? I hope that when he becomes a full starter, he can really blossom, but I don't know a lot about him.

TMHUNH 10-19-2003, 05:35 PM Anyone seen him play? I hope that when he becomes a full starter, he can really blossom, but I don't know a lot about him. I have only seen him twice, but he seems solid. He played a strong period against the USA U-18 team a couple of weeks ago. He is pretty smallin the net but has good reflexes, and should become a good starter next year. WUNHSptsDir 10-20-2003, 09:55 AM Only seen him in person once, at the under-18 game early this year. I will tell you, though, he looked good. I think I speak for the UNH community when, prior to that game, a lot of people have been nervous about any game when Ayers isn't between the pipes. However, I think his performance in that game was a glimpse into the future of UNH Hockey. He looks like the real deal and is going to play in probably 7 games this year. Next year he'll compete for the starting spot with any incoming freshmen that UNH signs. | ||
