Canada is the front runner for the Gold...most agree.
Which country do you think has the greatest chance to upset, and take gold?
I think Sweden has a good chance. Four solid lines and a good defence core...and this time they have a reliable goalie.

I agree with Sweden...This is going to be the strongest team they have had and their goaltending is gonna put on a helluva show.

Sweden,Russia,Czech and Slovakia, in that order.
Slovakia is always the most dominant offensively, with Meszaros emerging as a great defenseman, and Budaj potentially being a better goaltender then Lasak, their chances became alot better.
I think Sweden and Russia will be the top teams gunning to take the gold away from Canada.
Watch out for the Slovaks. Lots of firepower up front and very solid defense. I think they're going to suprise alot of people.

Sweden, Russia and the Czech Republic wouldn't really be suprises if they win the gold.
They all have a solid team with great offensive power, a steady defense and all of them have one or two good goaltenders.
A real upset would be a team like Slovakia or Finland.
Everybody knows they have a great line-up, but they are no ones favorite.
I would watch out for Slovakia.
They are far better than most people give them credit for..

Remember Sweden skated Canada out of the rink in 2002.
Only the massive upset by Belarus prevented a medal round rematch.

Tommy Salo was spectacular until the Belarus match.
He won against the Czech Republic and against Canada.
The Belarus match was a turning point in his career.
But he wasn't the one to blame.
The game should never have been that close.
