Ladislav Smid?

Much has been made about how Evgeny Malkin and Roman Voloshenko being on the Russian squad and how they will dominate this tournament.
But has Anaheim granted Ladislav Smid his release to the tournament? Because I feel that this guy can dominate the tournament and take the Czechs quite a ways in the medal round by himself.

I know on this article it says "Nejasný je příjezd Ladislava Šmída (Portland, AHL)."
What does that mean?

It says that his start is uncertain and that Anaheim needs to let him go for him to participate.

As long as there were no injuries to Portland (AHL) last night, Smid was being released today to the Czech team.

Smid will be going.

That's really good. I'm looking forward to seeing him play again. Definitely will be on the WJC All-Star team.
