Ryan Miller 4-0 vs. Team USA Goalies

They just showed that stat at the end of the Sabres game.

I think he's only 3-0 as Nitty played instead of Esche the other day. But still.

I have to imagine that Miller being 4-0 against the other USA goalies has a lot more to do with the Sabres being a great team than Miller being a great goalie (no offense to Miller who is an excellent player, but the stat is totally irrelevant.)

Could be, but in my observation he's been at his best since he got back from his injury. Too bad they had to name the teams so early. If they were picked tomorrow I bet he'd be on the team.

On the Satellite Hotstove it was confirmed that Miller is one of the players on the U.S. taxi squad. I'm going to make a prediction and say *something* is going to happen and he'll find his way onto the team. As for he outplaying DiPietro and Grahame, I think you have to look a bit under the surface over the past few games. DiPietro's been inconsistent to be sure (loss, win, loss), but Grahame has actually played pretty well, just a bit unlucky (see tonight's game against the Sabres). Hopefully all of the U.S. goalies will be playing well by the time the Olympics roll around.
