sundstrom32* 12-13-2005, 08:22 PM I have not looked at the actualy records; but it seems like the eastern teams are having no problem beating the western teams (sans NJ)
anyone got the east v. west record so far
this does not bode well for devs since they have lost a few to the western teams and lose ground

oil slick 12-13-2005, 10:19 PM last I read it was 33-16-8 for the West over the East. (prior to tonight).
West has been pretty dominant.

East is 32-26-10-74 pts, the West is 36-23-9-81 pts ... have to look at both given the stupid OTL. West has 52.3% of the points ... not really domination.
Speedyturtle 12-14-2005, 10:48 PM West has a slight lead but not enough to say they're better. I'd say it's pretty much even.
nikebauer 12-15-2005, 10:54 AM Keep in mind Ottawa went into Vancouver and lost in a shootout when they had no business even being in overtime. They proceed to lose to Calgary the following night

Ottawa is 2-0-2 against Western teams, with three games on the road.
They haven't been beaten in regulation.
EDIT: LOL, me and my big mouth. Dallas wins 2-0.
IBleedOil247 12-15-2005, 12:23 PM After last nights games:
West: 37-24-9 for 83 PTS
East: 32-28-10 for 74 PTS
Pretty close but to answer your question, how could the West be overrated if they are winning more games? I was expecting about this result. Close, and it will be all year.
MountainHawk 12-15-2005, 06:37 PM Something screwy with your numbers ... the West is 37-33 and the East is 32-38. ;-)

It all has to do with OTL my friend. The game total is the same but it is correct.

...and the Flyers beat Calgary in a shootout and completely outplayed Vancouver, while missing half their team.

thanks to some help by the wonderful duo in stripes, that gave the BJ's three 5-on-3's in the 2nd period alone.

Are the Sedin's finally getting their due this year from the local fans or no? Henrik seems to be having himself a great season so far.
