don't much about this guy except we drafted him he did not want to play in nj, and now he is on florida..


is he a potential trade candidate? is he any good? we do need right handed shots on the point..any thoughts

I doubt Lou has any interest in him because Van Ryn made it pretty clear that he does not want to play in NJ. I think he was drafted out of college, went to Juniors, refused to sign, then went to arbitration to get free agency from the Devils.
Some of this may be wrong and if so, please correct me. It's been a while.
Either way he doesn't seem to have a Devil personality.
