Jagr went into the tank last night. The announcers on direct tv were super critical of his lack of effort and said he was pouting and that he should have stayed off the ice. I think he was sending Cassidy a message about who is the expendible one.:teach:

They were also commenting about Jagr not being on the 1st power play unit. I don't know that it is significant or not that the unit with Bondra on it was on the ice first during several of the caps pp's last night and not Jagr. I think it is significant that Cassidy is trimming Jagr's playing time for whatever reason and its going hand in hand with games where Jagr hasn't had a lot of offer. 4 pts in the first two games. zero points in the last two games. I don't know.

Cassidy is an idiot.....I can see trimming Jagrs ice time if he isnt playing well.....but they showed a stat that he was 7th among forwards in ice time in the first period. I think its a bit early (first period) to make that call.....
