Just had a question for you all. I was in Chicago this past weekend and I heard a little blurb about some interest in Fredrik Modin from a couple of Hawks fans. A name that got mentioned was Mark Bell in some sort of package deal.
On paper both Mark Bell and Fredrik Modin are relatively similar. Moding brings one of the hardest, if not the hardest shot in the league. Scoring ability, diversity in that he can play any forward position, leadership, and defensive awareness. Mainly what Bell brings to the table with a little more phsyical play minus the scoring of Modin. Anyways to the question, what (if anything) would it take to get the Hawks to trade Mark Bell? I would imagine that Bell would be one of the untouchables along with Ruutu and others. But I think Modin for Bell is pretty even, maybe plus or minus a couple picks? I dunno, I thought it would be a good topic to think about. Just my two cents. Thoughts?
