So far this season, theyve proved Im right on 3 of 4 things Ive been saying all summer:

#1 Vyborny is the most underrated player in the league
#2 Shelley isnt as bad a player as everyone claims
#3 Nedorost has a LOT of work to do before hes ready to be a top 6 forward (looked totally lost out there tonight)

Actually, Im kind of right on #4; Jean Luc hasnt screwed up yet this season! :joker: Oh well, time will tell on that one with all these forwards going down.

#1 - I knew he was talented, but "the entire league"??
#2 - Shelley improved in the offseason, as he needed to! He is playing well with his linemates and playing his role very well.
#3 - Word.

The one where Nedorost floated in the offensive zone, drifted a bit making him look lost - without his stick on the ice, and seemed like he was small and light when contact was made. Ethereal even. I was watching on TV and I could smell the fear coming off him.

It was only one game, and it was against the Canucks - I can see where it would be easy for a kid to be a specator in that setting. His first home game, etc... I'm not passing any overall judgement on him, and I'm looking forward to seeing how he does against Chicago. Keep him right where he is and see what he can do.

Both home games. He made one play in the Vancouver game where he stole the puck from a defenseman just inside the blue line. Other than that he looked lost out there. By far our worst player on the ice vs Vancouver.

I agree. I thought Nedoros was by far the worst player on the ice for us. He never seemed to know what was going on... and it seemed like he was skating in slooooowwwww motion...
