Saw him play on Friday. Quite disappointed.

No points, 11 PIM. Figured he'd be all over the ice, considering he'd been playing against much stronger competition over the last month, but the only reason he stood out was because I was watching for him.

Needs some time to adjust to the dub and linemates again?

I saw half the game that night, and you could tell from that outset that it was going to be one of Getzlaf's half assed efforts, which he occaisonally does show from time to time. Getzlaf is much more talented than alot of WHL'ers, and he can be VERY dominating, IF he wants to. The only thing really missing from Ryan's game is consistency. The fact he almost cracked the Ducks line-up probably also contributed to a below average first game. From what I heard, he was much better in his second game, scoring a SH goal I believe......
