All you need to know about this board

Wow, twice as many complaints about a 1 goal loss on Thursday as there were excited compliments after a 5-0 domination on Saturday. Sad. :rolleyes:

Change the words "this board" to "Columbus fans" and you can be even more accurate!

I was actually going to say something about that, I was amazed how pessamistic people were being on this board. Alot of you calling for a 3 loss start of the season, when they only lost to Atlanta by one in the first game, which was a very interesting environment to say the least. I was there, and it was definately moving when they had the bagpipe player come out for amazing grace, not as moving as the ice skating civil war soldier at the game saturday though... man they went to far with that ohio history thing. But anyway, they looked great on Saturday, I hope we win tonight so there aren't as many complaint on the board... geez I take it you are all huge OSU fans too, it shows.

Ive usually found OHio State Fans and Blue Jackets Fans to be quite different.

Agreed, no matter how bad the Buckeyes suck, there will still be those same annoying fans. If the Jackets keep losing, it'll just be us die hards around when they finally make it.

Still not too many positive posts after a win over one of the best teams in our conference.

Actually, Columbus fans are usually optimistic to a fault. Its just on these boards that they tend to seek out the negative.

i read their game day thread from yesterday. it's funny how their posters went from predictions ofa 6-2, 7-3, etc. blowout victory to hating their team. i think bertuzzi was about the only player no one really complained about.
it was pretty entertaining.
i love nothing more than the cbj upsetting a good team and hearing about how the good team just played awful. i mean, it's impossible for columbus to be good isn't it? columbus couldn't have won the game by anything other than luck or a poor showing by the other team right?
for the love of god, the team is a total affront to hockey that makes stupid trades and overpays crappy players and they're named after a BUG!!!!

I waded through all 6-7 pages of that thread, too. I did notice a few Nucks fans commenting that the CBJ were an improved team. Several posters, prior to game time, mentioned that the CBJ tend to be a tough team for the Nucks.

I was surprised to see the CBJ get THAT much recognition from a league front-runner.

Take a few minutes and read the "Blame Cloutier" thread on their board. That one is pretty amusing as well.
