oze getting delt?

since he came back I have had a bad feeling that oze might get delt alot of people talking about him not being productive and he did get sat last night, thoughts?

He got benched for half of the game.... Salei took way too many penalties... and Sykora has a "groin injury"...

BTW, Salei had the most PIM before Fedoruk got his match penalty/Game Misconduct on the entire roster... And none are from fighting.

My guess is all three of these guys are gonners - hopefully sooner rather than later. We'll see what BB can get in return. I am pretty sure that all are pretty valuble. Salei has grown into quite a presence on the blue line - definitely would add some grit to a team. Ozo is a great point man for a PP in need of one. And Sykora is a great gamble - a team can trade for him, and he could either earn his salary, or they can just walk away after this season, or renegotiate a more affordable price for him.

Fingers crossed that it happens soon - I wish we could get rid of Jason Marshall too - he is the only one who has as many dumb penalties as Salei.

I agree if your name isn't Lupul, Getzlaf, Perry or Niedermayer and maybe Selanne then you shouldn't get too comfortable in Anaheim.

First Feds and now Sykora it seems Burke is having an overpaid Euro firesale, I wouldnt be surprised if Ozo followed.

I wont say Im happy with it, Sykora can go if we get something decent in return but I dont think we should give up on Ozo so soon.

I'm also a season-ticket holder from day one. As far as I'm concerned, I won't be asking for a refund unless they trade Scott Niedermayer. Virtually anyone else is fair game. (Rob Niedermayer is safe because the deal for Scott was a "package deal".

For the record, I tend to agree with your list of "keepers". With the exception of Vish, none of those guys has a high trade value. Vish has been superb this year. If I were in Brian Burke's shoes, it would take an awfully sweet deal to pry Vish away from the Ducks.

By sticking up for his teammates in Phoenix the other night, Fedoruk has guaranteed himself a position as a "fan favorite"---and deservedly so. Penner has a big future here, so, he, too, is unlkely to go. Marshall plays for the league-minimum salary, which, in the new salary-cap era, is a big "plus". His trade value is negligible. If he goes, he'' be replaced by someone with an equally-cheap salary (i.e., Beauchemin, St. Jacques, etc.)

Pahlsson and Hedstrom are the most-under-rated players on the team.

Since (1) he's a Brian Burke-type player and (2) he carries a sizeable contract, Marchant is unlikely to be going anywhere. Besides, I think he'll prove to be quite popular with Ducks fans.
