Yeah I was wondering why Marshall was in the lineup at forward.

I was hoping a Sykora trade was being finished.

It would be like him to get injured just when we're about to get rid of him. Make the circle of uselessness complete.

i think he is not injured, its some kind of tricky move by Burke. Its not logical that he got injured .. where ? At the practise ?

I don't believe the injury. At this point, the Ducks are a better team with him out of the lineup... Hoping it's because he's being traded.

Yeah. Interesting that the first game Sykora sits out, the Ducks win.

If the Ducks are going to trade winger Petr Sykora, they might have to wait until he recovers from a strained groin muscle that kept him out of the lineup Tuesday.

Sykora, on the block according to a report emanating from Canada, suffered the injury in practice Monday.

"Obviously, the team is not doing as well as we expected, and if we continue to lose, changes are going to be made," Sykora said. "Obviously, I'm not doing my job. I'm not scoring goals."

Sykora, 29, is making $3.116million in the final season of a three-year contract, but has only four goals and 11 points in 21 games.

Ducks general manager Brian Burke declined comment on whether he is shopping Sykora.

"It's not going well, and I'm not scoring, so I wouldn't be surprised at all," Sykora said.
