Okay I know allot of you guys are going say what am I on but this is how I feel, I loved this team for a long time and I’ve got to say that we have got to be one of the dumbest clubs when it comes to roster management, we trade feds for two guys I know will not be with this club come next season, I know salary dump but burke also wants a winning club and feds performance impacted this move, he didn’t put points on the board but what did he play this season 4 games??? and he considered feds a disapointment well as far as I’m concern the nieds brothers have been a great disappointment especialy scott. sykora, salie, carney, phallson, and others all have been disappointing as far as points and I can see feds improving as the injury wears off, but all these guys, come on has scott really been the defensemen he was with nj, and with guys people are talking about being brought in place of feds, none of them I think are feds level players, jason allison, last time I check wasn’t he one hit to the head away from needed a personal nurse, owen nolan, I thought having knees that worked help with skating, toddB. Is he really someone that would fit in here? and plus I don’t know if he would work p.r. wise, I know I forgive him but allot of people don’t. drury? whats he done lately? I know most of what I said doesn’t help when It comes to cap but getting rid of more players that aren’t improving the team would have been better then getting rid of one that has the capability too.

I think it was a good move and I have faith in Burke. Give him time, I know it has been said in Anaheim before but the next couple of years we should be a very good club. This I understand it being very frustrating watching the games, we seem to be one play away everytime to come out with points.
Also, Scott Nieds has been amazing as of late. I think he has something like 9 points in his last 8 games. Now if you factor our GF over that span at just under 2 per game I believe, that is an important stat. He got off to a slow start the first 10 games or so, but his first time playing somewhere else in like 12 years, so lets give him a break. If we are going to pay someone over 6m per year, I'm very glad it is Scott instead of Sergei.

okay I can understand that it was just really upsetting to see someone like feds not given a fare chance and just let go for penuts

Are you actually complaining about the best player (Scott Niedermayer) on your team?

Niedermayer does everything that a defenseman should do and more. He really does look like the defenseman from New Jersey. He is one of the few players on this team who consistently makes a difference shift by shift.
I would love to have Chris Drury on this team. He is a solid, good skating two way player with heart.
Don't want anything to do with Nolan or Allison.
Bertuzzi is a wild card...

I would love to see Scott Gomez in Anaheim. He could really boost the Hispanic fanbase for the Ducks in So-Cal.

And he might play a little hockey, too.
