3mta3 10-11-2003, 06:45 PM Great game. Lots of good things to say. What a difference home ice and Sanderson make.
We get Leto on the second line, then he's injured. I want a piece of Mironov for breaking Leto's finger. He's such a bum. I'm so glad he's a Ranger.
Props to our cousins the Wild for softening them up for us. Speaking of softening, was anyone else surprised to see Lindros creaming Fritsche in the noggin with his stick? Someone with a head like his should know better - and should also stay out of Jody's face. Nice to see Jody shrug him off.

Wright has all over Lindros all night long, Maybe Lindros thought he could stir up some emotions and stupid penalties by the jackets. Good to see Fritsche bounce right back up.
RDriesen 10-11-2003, 08:26 PM def a better game :) Klesla was awsome again tonight..hes playing like everyone thought he could. fritsche looked solid again and this team is much better with sanderson out there. i hope we are somewhere like this all year than the first game. hopefully its not a sign of good at home bad on the road. great to get the first win
A superb effort by everybody - right down the line. The only sour note was the injury to Letkowski.
I could have kissed Shelley for skating away from Barnaby - well, no, not really, but it was great to see him picking his spots!
I am continually surprised by Duvie Westcott. Every time I think I have his skill level pegged, he sneaks it up a notch.
missionhockey21 10-11-2003, 09:20 PM Great game for the Bluejackets, lets hope they keep it up! And Klesla was awesome tonight.
The Dispatch is saying four to six weeks for Letkowski's finger to heal. Dadgummit!!
Should we start the call-up-Pronger vs. play-Nedoroest-more debate now or wait until after breakfast?

How about moving Knutsen/Prijeta up to 2nd line RW, moving Tyler Wright to center, and sticking Nedorost on 3rd Line LW

i would move pirjeta up, and put nederost in
puckgoalnet 10-12-2003, 09:02 AM Pirjeta had a great game last night. I've always thought he looked sluggish out on the ice, last night he proved me wrong.
Anyone else love the nice figure-8 move Rusty did in the 3rd bringing the puck out of the zone? Totally brought the Rangers fore-checker out of his skates.

It may be pre-mature to say so, but it looks like Rusty's finally blooming into the kind of player we were all looking forward to.
Damn, what a game!
Could the Rags get any lower???? It's pretty hilarious when the Shelley-Fritche-Ling, line are getting power play time.:joker:
Hopefully, we can stand as tall against the 'Nucks, which will be a true test of our team's grit.
Ejh18 10-12-2003, 02:40 PM I want to know what happened to Mr Druval. This is definitly not the same kid we saw last year. He is playing possesed.
Spiffy 10-13-2003, 02:55 AM Lepo-Lasse is doing what he always does... He has all the skills to be one heck-uva player but he is still lazy... When he feels like it he can be the best player out on the ice but when he doesn't feel like it he will do nothing.
