Hola, Hope y'all are tired from last night :). Should be a good one and it ain't televised, at least up here. I was hoping someone could help me out with how Steve Bernier looks. It's likely he'll make his NHL debut tonight with Primeau and Thornton injured.

Anyway, any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Customer: Excuse me sir, can you make change for a twenty?

Fedorov: Twenty dollars is a very good bill. It is very big. Forty dollars is better, but... you know, it is very difficult.

Does the money he makes working the register count against the cap?

At about $74,000 per game he might as well be doing something.

The Sharks are playing very aggressive and creating alot of problems for our defensemen. Jiggy is keeping us in this game.

not the best period for the Ducks...I think they are glad it's over and its 0-0. I'm expecting a better effort in the 2nd.

Giguere looks solid.

Great hit by Vish on Dimitrakos.

ducks looked kind of tired, they played pretty good defensively after the first.

Getzlaf was good, Giguere stole a point.

Yawn. What a boring game.

Sharks are the new Devils.

So does that mean we now have the best goaltending in the league and are going to win some Stanley Cups...sweeeeet..... ;)

Two teams with no idea how to score... Giguere got in their heads early. The sharks had way too many chances to need 60+ minutes (and a stupid fn penalty by salei) to win.

Ducks played gay and the only reason they got a point is Giguere. We're starting to see how good he is...

wow what a boring game.

Sharks played better they probably deserve the second point.

Giguere basically stole a point for the Ducks...we'll take it and move on...

Fedoruk suffered a strained back and will be evaluated today.

some quotes:

"It's a good thing we got one point (in the standings)," Salei said. "Jiggy kept us in the game as long as he could. We just wasted a great effort by the goalie."

"They dominated the game for the first two periods," Ducks coach Randy Carlyle said. "The first two periods, it was a turnover nightmare."

"We came out a little flat, but we had a pretty good third period," Giguere said. "That game could have gone either way. I think we should feel good about getting a point."

Yeah the sharks did no clutching and grabbing yesterday(both teams did plenty, the officials were letting that go). The sharks have a good team, they are very fast they deserved the two points.

Looks like Fedorov will be back next week sometime, thank goodness, Lupul could use him. I'd like to see them roll a niedermayer, fedorov, lupul line. Good balance of grit and skill.

According to theAHL.com, Trevor Gillies was called up to replace Fedoruk's muscle in the lineup. Could be interesting...
