The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled left wing Chris Kunitz from the Portland Pirates, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). Additionally, the club returned goaltender Michael Wall to Portland.

We don't need Kunitz. We need a defenseman not named Jason Marshall.

Marshall and DiPenta have been solid.
We only need a d-man if Ozolinsh is out long term.

Well he didn't play at all after the fight (which is like half the game I think), and it definitely looked like he hurt it after that punch. He didn't throw one after it, just tried to get the helmut off and then let iginla take him down, IMO.

I was checking out the ducks site and the guy who said kunitz would be called up(posted the info before any websites) said moen had a concussion or seperated shoulder...

Iginla is a chump. I hate guys that wont take off their visors before a fight. Chicken****.

Damn Moen has been solid for us.
Damn Moen has been solid for us.
Solid as a 4th line PKer, but pretty weak as scoring line winger playing with Nieds and Lupul. This might be a good thing if Kunitz can slide into that spot and generate some offense.

So you didn't hear it? You assumed it?

Sorry to hear that Moen may have been injured in that fight with Iginla. I was at the game and---at the time of the fight---I was thinking "this is great": coincidental five minute minors. They lose Iginla for five minutes and we lose Moen. I'd make that swap anytime.
I agree with both Dirk and Hank: Moen has proven to be a better player than I thought he was. That said, he has no scoring touch and I'd like to see Kunitz get a chance.
