What would Washington offer for D Mathieu Schneider or/and D Mathieu Dandenault. Please do not include Jagr in any offers, because Detroit can't afford his salary without moving Joseph first. I like prospects/picks or maybe a veteran roster player. Make an offer.

Even Robert Lang is off the table with the injury to Nylander. The Capitals don't have anything to offer that the red wings would want except a draft choice.

No one is off the table....reguardless of injury.

yea? the caps trade lang for dandeneaux and go into the season with
nylander injured no #1 or #2 center and 11 of the first 13 games against teams above .500 last year. the season would be over before thanksgiving.

I think if the Caps could get out from under Lang's salary, they would probably do it, injury or not. Halpern moves up, Zubrus switches over, Sutherby moves up. There's enough centers on the roster, I would think.

And you are correct...
