I say he plays on the second line with Mogilny and Kozlov.

I see no reason to break up the EGG line from last year they were absolutely tearing the league up. Now with the new rules their production should only increase.

So far he's been the 2nd line center playing mostly with Kozlov and Gionta. Gionta and Brylin will likely be interchangeable wingers on his line and we could see Jamie Langenbrunner put into a more offensive role playing alongside Zach as well with Pascal Rheaume taking his place on the checking line. This may be a better offensively balanced solution for the team over having Langenbrunner on the checking line.

If Zach Parise continues to show good offensive insticts as time goes on, I could see him being a fourth forward on the power play with one defender at the other point similar to how Mike Sullivan uses Patrice Bergeron on occasion. Could be interesting once Patrik Elias comes back and you have something like this finally available:

Elias - Gomez - Mogilny
Rafalski/Martin - Parise

I think Parise has been excellent and I love the way he and Kozlov work together. I also think that gomez and Almo haven't clicked yet, but I think they need at least a month to get back that chemistry.

So with that being said what do you guys think about these lines? When Elias gets back he should be reunited with Gionta and Gomez, they were great with all the obstruction, without it they will be even better. Which leaves Parise and Kozlov to play with Mogilny. I think Parise could play well off of Kozlov's size and Mogilny's finishing ability.

Rookie of the year:

1. Ovechkin
2. Crosby
3. Parise
