Who else is salivating at the thought of what this guy can do w/out clutch and grab? I mean, seriously, he's a 40 goal 90 point guy under Larry Robinson in the clutch and grab NHL, now with expanded offense, two line passes being allowed, and other things of that nature, I think (not this year) we see a 100 point season out of him.

He's the most underated player in hockey outside of Kim Johnsson. He's missing time so I doubt he break 100 this year unless he comes back faster then anticipated. But if it's like this next year and he's healthy I think he's a 100 point guy.

If he comes back and plays on a line with Gomez and Mogilny, anything less than a point per game would be a major dissapointment.

I dont think we should expect too much from him, I mean the guy's gonna be coming back after a major illness. He's not gonna be the old Elias for a while, while I do expect him to contribute offensively, I dont expect a PPG. Hopefully Im wrong! 100 points isn't out of the question for next year though!

i agree with you guys...and i do think that barring some unseen turn of events, i could really see elias becoming the first ever devil to get 100 points in the near future...

Elias likes to go into traffic zones through checks so I think the new NHL will really help him out.

100 point player, If the devils can resign him after this year (which will likely prove to be very difficult)

i think if he has a big season once he gets back and gets healthy he may very well be the top free agent prize next offseason some team with caproom may just throw 5-6+ mill at him.

missing Camp....he'll get off to a slow start and pick it up later on the season. he'll fo good for the amount of games he plays, but i wouldn't expect much right out the gate.
