I'm thinking of picking Ruutu up on the free-agent list when he comes out in my 1-year yahoo fantasy league.
Do you guys think this is a good idea? do you guys think he'll get 40 points or more this year? will he challange for the calder? how has he looked in the preseason games so far? will he get a lot of ice-time in Chicago? is he worth getting in this year's fantasy league?
Thanks in advance

He will see lots of icetime. 40 points sounds reasonable, though he is more an all around guy. His all around game will also be a big thing in the calder race. Pretty much every expert has picked Ruutu as the calder trophy favourite. He might not lead rookies in points but he brings a lot more to the table, and with his style of playing he will always be seen and talked about where ever he goes.
There will be even more points if he gets to play #1 center between sully and daze. And that is not impossible at all, they clicked very well in pre-season.

Derpends who else is available. He may be somewhat fragile and if there is another potential 40 pointer who hasn't had injuries so far I would take him.
