Is it correct that he didn't play anywhere? If it were me (and I am not a prefessional athlete) , I think I would be paranoid that I would lose something by not playing in a competitive league.
Obviously he didnt sit on the couch eating chips...Does anyone have some detailed info on what he did to stay sharp? Some have told me it will *benefit* him by not playing, and actually adding an extra 2 + years to his career.

He was on the Eurostars tour, other than that he probably just spent time with his kids, nuff said.
I was thinking about putting something in my original thread like "Could you give me an answer more than 'because he's the greatest goalie ever' "
I guess its the same old script.

He did answer you... we was on the short-lived Eurostars tour and then did nothing for the rest of the year. What's so hard to understand?

:dunce: I didn't say because he's the greatest goalie ever, but now that you mention it.

He played on Team Canada for the World Championships in May. Saw him in Innsbruck & Vienna.
