This sounds good to me. A hip flexor is a relatively minor thing. I'm not sure that it has anything to do with the surgeries he had after the 2003-04 season..

Let's hope Mogs isn't hampered at all tonight. We'll need his offensive jump for sure.

The lines mentioned at the end of the article look good

Sergei Brylin-Scott Gomez-Mogilny
Viktor Kozlov-Parise-Brian Gionta
Pandolfo-John Madden-Jamie Langenbrunner
Erik Rasmussen-Pascal Rheaume-Grant Marshall

I have a feeling that the 4th line can be a productive one........Looking at these lines it appears Kozlov is going to be the odd man out once Elias Returns.......I hope he makes its a reall tough decision for Lou though.

It's going to be one of Kozlov, Langenbrunner, or Brylin. As of right now, I'm not sure who I would choose. It might be Langenbrunner.

Langenbrunner just wasn't doing it for me in any of the preseason games I saw, Brylin was flying around like usual and Kozlov actually played well too. Langenbrunner though was nowhere to be found. He may be focusing on the defensive aspect of his game now, but we need some offense from him too...ever since his injury last year I haven't really been impresssed with him.

So I take it checking line number one goes out verses Lemieux and checking line number two goes out against Crosby.

I think the more physical unit is going to go against Crosby also, and I think they're going to introduce the kid to the NHL with a couple bodychecks.

I hope he's a superstar, we need one, but if he can't take a few hits then he's in big trouble.

Did it look like Jamie Langenbrunner had regained some of the speed (at least a step) he lost after the knee injury?

Not at all. To me at least he didn't look like it.
