From what I understand, the Flyers used a little stick work on Parise's face the other night. As for our 4th line, I rather see Foster and Tallackson play. Langdon at $450K to play twice a month when up or down 5-1 and drop the gloves is fine with me. Get rid of Oliwaste and his 836K. Nothing against him but in the cap situation the Devils are in I think Oliwa and his slaary should be shed. I completely agree with anyone who thinks Hale should make the team. He played decent in his rookie season and had a great preseason. He can do for us no less then White or Matvichuk. Stay at home physical defenseman who is under 30. Players like him come a dime a dozen and he will spend more time in the box then on the ice. goin2hell 10-03-2005, 10:52 PM From what I seen of the two games on the tele I was impressed with Hale and Rasmussen. IMO I thought they really stood out and would like to see them on Wednesday night. As for the other spots if Lou has every intention of keeping Oliwa I would think you would have to play him...he can be intimidating but he can't keep getting beat up. I know he was sent down already but it seems kind of peculiar that he would play all 3 games in a row to end the preseason. Is there a chance he makes it if Langdon/Oliwa is sent on his way? Robinson was saying how everyone who is playing has a chance to make the team, and after he said that, Janssen played 3 games in a row. Just seems strange to me. He has no business being on the team but he could just be on the roster and be scratched all the time...
