Is he healthy? Or has he seemed healthy enough to put up decent numbers this season?

The season starts Wednesday October 5th. We will see then. Isn't he coming off surgery? Rest is important. His touch will be there but it's a matter of timing.

The offense will be the issue again this season for the Devils. They must win and need points (goals) on a consistent basis. Unlike their previous inconsistent regular seasons games where all the offensive players played poorly in the same game while the defense kept them in low scoring games that they would sneak out a win holding to a 1 goal lead.

This is the year of offense. Welcome to Devils hockey.

Mogilny has had a sore groin. He should be ready for Wednesday, and he has looked good in the games that he has played during the preseason.

The hip shouldn't be a problem this season. Mogilny was skating well this summer which is why Lou Lamorillo signed him to give the Devils some additional scoring punch while Elias is recovering from Hepatitis A.

Speaking of Elias, is he still on a time frame that he'll miss about 10 games and be back?

Almo has got to be close to 100%, hopefully he can stay 100% at least until Elias comes back.

Almo is still capable of potting 30g 60p provided he can remain healthy. He's a superb talent though father time is catching up quickly. The thing i noticed with Mogilny is his injuries seemed more common and healing time increased which is no surprise after 1000 games over 15 nhl seasons.
The year off combined with surgery should guarantee a healthy start to the season.Hopefully for Almo it last all year long.

I certainly hope he has another great year. I just want to caution those who think Mogilny will be the ultimate shoot out hero; he has not fared very well in penalty shots thorughout his career and has stated he doesn't like them. He's great on breakaways, bur for some reason the penalty shot has eluded him more often than not.

Speaking of Elias, is he still on a time frame that he'll miss about 10 games and be back?Rich Chere of The Star-Ledger reports that Elias is skating on his own, and doctors are checking his liver's enzyme count to be sure the Devil does not suffer a setback. Sometime in November seems likely.

Almo is still capable of potting 30g 60p provided he can remain healthy.I certainly agree, especially with the greater number of power plays to start the season.

I just want to caution those who think Mogilny will be the ultimate shoot out hero;He was two for two during the preseason.
