Apparently, he's also suing the Wisconsin AD, etc. It's getting pretty ugly.

It's too bad things have come to the point where players can SUE coaches to try to play! That said, Eaves is TOTALLY in the wrong in this instance, and should have been fired. A coach should NEVER lay hands on a player, let alone act like a lunatic! Then to compound it by alienating him from his own teammates...

Barry Richter needs to forget that Eaves was once a good player at Wisconsin, and see him for what he is...a hot-tempered lout! Look at his 2 sons. They are like the old man, and it nearly cost someone a career.
