Wilsie stayed at my hotel last night!

I work in annapolis, MD at a hotel...and we have a deal set up with the caps for them to stay there for training camp and so on and so forth.

well was checkin the roster this morning and a name caught my eye. So I did a quick check and see Wilsie, Washington Capitals. :yo: Checked in late friday night and had a wake up call at 7:45 this morning (my shift ended at 7).

but its pretty cool to have some of the players stay there...last week I had two tickets to the Caps - Wings game waiting for one Mr. Peter Bondra (he never showed). Also Calle Johansson (yall may know him as the blue line staple mate of Foppa's Sweedish National Team) who just recently retired and is now a scout or something with the team.


but to make a long story short, it was cool to see an Av player...looks like he will get some PT this season too, with Nylander's broken leg...its good to see former Avs succeed.

it sure sounds like it. speaking of which, i think i saw him on Jerry Springer a few years ago. he was sleeping with his mom's sister's daughter or something weird....

well he extended his stay til the 13th...maybe I'll get to see him one morning or something (most of his wakeup calls are after I leave though :mad: )


Mr. Johannson checked in last night, along with Kwit something (D-men for the Caps)....maybe I can strike up a convo with Calle about the national team...

My fault - I was talking to friends in MI who were telling me about the Liles sons' being related and that's how the "son" part of the thread got in there instead of "brother".
