Hello,

I am the HF writer in Edmonton and normally have access to the dressing rooms for post game interviews. Keeping the focus of HF in mind, are there any players/coaches that you would like specific questions asked to?

Give me the names and the questions but please try to keep it concerning rookies, prospects and such. I will do my best to have your questions answered when your team is in my town on Thursday night.

Cheers!

Hockey's FutureWhen the Blues come to Edmonton, I would enjoy an interview with Matt Walker if he is up.

I think for the Sharks the obvious ones are Michalek and Ehrhoff. New to the league, and both performing beyond expectations for where they are in the organization heirarchy.

I'd prefer Ehrhoff over Michalek actually, only because Chris' English is better than Milan's, so you will probably be able to get more out of Chris (unless Milan has a translator with him).

I'd also like to vote for sophomore Cheech.

McCauley - I'm curious to know how he's adjusting to this team. I know he was semi- heartbroken last year after having to leave the Leafs. And what expectations does he have for the team and for himself this year. You may also want to find out a little more about how he inherited an "A" on his jersey already ( he was an alternate captain in the last preseason game)

Captaincy issue still does not appear to be resolved, noone around here is making any kind off deal about it. I'd like to have one named! Looking like either Damphousse, Ricci, Mclaren or McCauley.

I also agreee with the above posts. Erhoff would be a guy I'd love to hear from, he has done nothing but impress in the preseason, and I find no reason to believe that he wont do the same in the regular season. He and Michalek will challenge for 1st team all-rookie honors, no doubt!

Just in case you didn't see it, here is one hell of a compliment for Ehrhoff:

"He's going to be a stud," Ron Wilson said. "You can just see it. He's excited to be at the rink every day. He does everything at the fastest tempo that he possibly can and God does he pound the puck. He's leading our team in shots in the preseason by a wide margin. It isn't like he's Bobby Orr leading the attack, he gets it at the point, he pounds it and he hits the net. Good things happen when you are doing that."

I've interviewed Ehrhoff for HF this past week and should get the
article up on the site this week. In addition I have plans to
interview other rookies moving forward. Better yet, I would like to
see an intereview with Zettler or the coaching staff of the rookies,
how they plan to use them, etc.

are there any other last minute questions from Shark fans?

Nope, but I would like to extend a big thank you!

As you can imagine, the Sharks weren't very talkative after the game. I was told Michalek speaks very poor english so I passed on him. Ehrhoff snuck out pretty quick too.

I did talk a bit with Tom Preissing though. I will send those quotes to the Sharks HF writer.

Sorry I couldn't get more but I was in the room, the players weren't though.

No problem... Holly told me to send them to Kevin Wey so that's what I did.
