No, Burnett doesn't win all of his fights, but he's still big and willing to go with anyone. (This was visible when Burnett was in camp years ago, at the same time as Adam Nittel!!) Anyway, some interesting guys traded spaces, but nobody to San Jose. Thankfully Zalesak remains a Shark/Baron. I'm hopeful that Nolan Baumgartner finds a real home in Pittsburgh. I'm also happy to see Carolina come to its sense and sign a real back-up goalie. (Jamie Storr) Of course, they also have Jani Hurme now too. I suspect he'll be traded back to Florida. ModestoFan 10-03-2003, 03:19 PM Jani was traded I think, but I forget to whom... (for a 4th I Belieev..) Kevin Wey 10-03-2003, 04:32 PM Yep, ESPN reports Jani Hurme was traded to Atlanta. (Who already have Byron Dafoe and Pasi Nurminen.) So, we'll see if this is Jani's last stop. In the meantime, Florida has an opening which could be filled by Miikka Kiprusoff...hmmm... Although everybody passed on Harvey in the Waiver Draft, I wonder if San Jose could package Kiprusoff and Harvey for a draft pick. (No real need for a player at this time.) | ||
