Is he going to play starting on opening night or is he still too sick? $4.18 million US seems like a lot for an "infected" player, atleast it is only for one year and it must of gone thru Lou's mind.

Is he going to play starting on opening night or is he still too sick? $4.18 million US seems like a lot for an "infected" player, atleast it is only for one year and it must of gone thru Lou's mind. Smart guess right now is he won't be ready for opening night and likely could miss the first 2-3 months of the regular season. A recent article in the local NJ papers indicated he was feeling much better then he thought he would be at this point and currently plans to workout by himself at the teams practice facilities during training camp so maybe his timetable will be US Thanksgiving or sooner. We just don't know at this point.
