Just wondering if anyone knows where he might play this year. Seems like the Pirates are lacking a tough guy so hopefully he will play up here.

He is for sure a top 10 heavy weight in the AHL.

I dont know much about this new guy, but chances are he will compete with Davis for the spot.

He might make the NHL team. Burke wanted to add toughness. He might be in the lineup with Fedoruk when we play physical teams.

Gilles and Fedoruk together would be scary. Gilles is for real. A knock you out type guy. I wonder if Trevor can skate a normal shift! MC-19.

I wish we would dress a line of Fedoruk - Moen - Gilles for 1 shift against a team like Kings or Wings with orders "seek & destroy"....That would make me sooooo happy.

Gillies is a major league bone breaker. "Me…kill" probably is the extent of his vocabulary. ;) I'd love to see him in the tough guy role for Portland. With Fedoruk already on the bench does Anaheim really need him or is Burke just making cap room?

We'll take care of the scoreboard then... ;)

Is Fedoruk expected to be in the lineup every night? Burke gave up a second for him, but he was often relegated to the press box in Philly.....

Philly's trash is our treasure, hope that answers your question.

Fedoruk is injury prone so Gillies is good insurance.

Sorry? I don't remember him as a injury-prone player, especially with his role he would be useless then.
He was injured only when Cairns broke his face after the Fridge knocked him down :yo:
