ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has named Newell Brown assistant coach.
Brown rejoins the Mighty Ducks organization after spending four seasons with the Columbus Blue Jackets as an associate coach. The Cornwall, Ontario native served as an assistant coach for the Mighty Ducks in the 1998-99 and 1999-2000 seasons.
“Newell Brown brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to the club we are happy to have him back,” said Executive Vice President/General Manager Brian Burke. “His familiarity with the organization will be a valuable asset for us moving forward.”
