What are others thoughts on acquiring someone like Nicklas Wallin from Carolina for our 5th spot on defense, with Glen Wesley signing today this gives Carolina some excess defenseman to work with. He is cheap at 836K, and I remember watching him in Carolina's playoff run a few years back and he played solid defense, not overly physical but steady with the puck and without.

He'd be a decent pick-up, basically a lesser version of Malik.
