Komisarek and Ryder for Sykora, Salei, and 2nd round pick?
Would this be fair?cheesymc 08-12-2005, 02:24 PM Komisarek and Ryder for Sykora, Salei, and 2nd round pick? Markus078 08-12-2005, 02:33 PM Komisarek and Ryder for Sykora, Salei, and 2nd round pick? i would do it ... komisarek can be a #1 defenseman and ryder a second line scoring forward ... i'd love this trade. Snap Wilson 08-12-2005, 02:37 PM Komisarek and Ryder for Sykora, Salei, and 2nd round pick? Are you kidding me? The Ducks would do this in a heartbeat. Kick Save 08-12-2005, 03:10 PM Komisarek and Ryder for Sykora, Salei, and 2nd round pick? I'm a Ducks fan and I'd love that deal, but there's no way Montreal makes the deal. You're going to pay through the nose before you pry Komisarek away from the Habs. Moll 08-12-2005, 03:37 PM i live in Montréal and saw Komisarek and Ryder play....I can guarantee that the duck would be stupid to say no..... Those two player are gonna be something great in this league hattrick74 08-12-2005, 05:16 PM very very 1 sided deal. people seem to forget that with cap space trouble, teams are gonna have to "give" away players ala JR. cheesymc 08-12-2005, 08:26 PM I thought it may have been a pretty fair deal when I thought of it. Komisarek really hasnt shown much besides potential of an older highly regarded prospect (just like Bryan Allen). But he does have the size/speed that every team would like to have to work with (and Scott and Carney can really teach this kid). Also, Ryder has only one season under his belt and alot of guys have sophmore slumps. I remember seeing this guy play, and he has a good motor and a wicked shot. Both Salei and Sykora are in their prime and are both proven players. I know theres the money thing, but since Montreal is thinking about winning now I thought they would do this if the Ducks threw in some picks and prospects like a 2nd rounder, McDonald, and Tim Brent. That way, the ducks finally get below the cap and might be able to make a 1.5 million offer to one of the old vets out there like Leclair, and also sign a legit enforcer who can play a bit like Worrell. Would this really be that one sided to the ducks? I guess it really depends on the GM's viewpoint and what they want to do now. But I think the ducks would have a decent lineup this way too, and with some chemistry they can go a long way. Their forwards will be very versitile and defense will have some decent speed: Ryder Federov Leclair (id rather have Zettleberg) Rob N. Lupol Fedoruk (hopefully becomes our McCarty) Rooch Leclerc Worrell Paulsson Hedstrom (kunitz and Moen as spares) Vish Scott N. Ozo Popovich (since he turned into a responsible Dman) Carney Komisarek (spare Marshall) Duckstudd269 08-12-2005, 08:51 PM I thought it may have been a pretty fair deal when I thought of it. I'd like to have him on the team, but I think the Ducks got Fedoruk to be that role.(a fighter who can actually play) also Hedstrom is not with the Ducks anymore. Getzlaf will probably be on our roster as well. Kevin Forbes 08-12-2005, 09:14 PM Hedstrom was rumoured to be coming to Anaheim, but that rumour was tied to Babcock... Original6 08-12-2005, 09:36 PM I doubt the candiens would want to trade two of their best young players for sykora and selei. | ||
