Ducks Name Dave Farrish Assistant Coach

ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has named Dave Farrish assistant coach. Farrish, 49 (8/1/56), spent last season as head coach and vice president of hockey operations for the Pensacola Ice Pilots in the ECHL, leading the club to the league’s best record (51-16-5, a .743 winning percentage).
A native of Wingham, Ontario Farrish brings 15 years of coaching experience to the Mighty Ducks. Farrish has served as head coach of 1,027 professional hockey games between the American Hockey League (AHL), International Hockey League (IHL) and the ECHL compiling a record of 520-402-83-22.

I interviewed Coach Farrish last year for a review of TOR's ECHL prospects. He's very intense. That's the best word for him.

Farrish was an assitant under Herb Brooks for the Devils in 1992-93, Scott Niedermayers rookie year. Just incase that means anything
